Gloria has led art programs at Valley Center Middle School, Fallbrook High School, and other institutions throughout North San Diego County. Her multilingual, multicultural muralism class at Fallbrook High produced a landmark mural that now serves as a symbol of identity and inclusion for the school community.

Community Mural Workshops

At the California Center of the Arts and other community venues, Gloria facilitates collaborative mural-making sessions where participants of all ages contribute to a shared visual work. These workshops build community, develop artistic skills, and produce lasting public art.

Multilingual Muralism – Fallbrook High School

An after-school program integrating cultural identity, language diversity, and visual art into a large-format mural. The resulting work, ‘Idiomas’, represents the multicultural fabric of the school’s student body.

STEAM Mural – Linda Vista Elementary School

A community-driven mural project completed in 2019 where more than 200 elementary-age students contributed original art. The mural incorporates glass traffic beads and iridescent paints that respond to changing light — a visual representation of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.

Mural Making – California Center of the Arts

A collaborative workshop where participants of all ages contributed to a large mural panel, exploring color, shape, and collective storytelling.
